Furry in the wrong places
Now, I understand get it. Different strokes for different folks.

Things I like in Japan #1
I decided to start a series of posts titled Things I like in Japan, which outlines just that.
Coming from the Niagara region of Ontario, maybe it’s silly to make the first thing I like in Japan grapes. In Canada, I was never a big grape fan. I mean if they were around I’d eat them, and I wouldn’t go out of my way to avoid them, but I’d never choose them.

Listening test voice
About a week or so ago, I got an e-mail from one of the teachers that works at our school part-time, asking if I wanted to do some voice work. Thinking that it sounded pretty damn cool, I said yes.

Travel : Nara (奈良)
Near the end of June, we travelled to Nara for a two day, one night stay. It took a couple of hours by bus to get there from Nagoya.
We arrived there sometime in the early afternoon and after dropping our overnight bag off at the hotel, we headed out to our first stop, Hōryū-ji (法隆寺). This temple is on the world heritage list, and apparently the pagoda is one of the oldest wooden structures...
