      37. I hate the smell of milk on skin.

— I know it sounds weird, but you know when you touch milk, and that smell it leaves on your skin afterwards? Yeah. I hate that. A lot.

      36. Whenever I … remove … more than one insect at a time, I either think or say aloud, “Wipe them out. All of them.

— Just like a true Sith Lord. Yessss.

      35. On the internet, I sign up for pretty much anything.

— … providing that I don’t have to pay, haha. Seriously though, I seem to just like signing up for stuff, even if I never use it. Just to have an account on it.

      34. I went through a phase of loving chickens. Especially rubber chickens.

So much so, that my friend’s dad gave me his rubber chicken. I realize out of context that that could easily be confused for something weird and sexual, but no. It was just a good old fashioned rubber chicken.

      33. I prefer my cupcakes naked.

I don’t particularly like icing, so if ever given the choice, I’d take a naked cupcake over an iced one any day.

      32. I’ve always had a pet and I can’t imagine living without one.

Since I was a child we’ve always had pets. I always grew up with a dog. The first dog I truly remember was Darby, a Bichon Frise. He put up with a lot, including tea parties and dressing up. After Darby passed, we got Watson… an awesome Wire Haired Fox Terrier with an incredibly charming personality and one heck of an evil eye.

I had fish (we had a pond) and a turtle named Stinky. I was also really into fresh water tropical fish for a while and had a nice 30 gallon tank… until it started leaking.

Then there were the rabbits. I had a grey one named Shadow, and later won three in a contest (which I’m pretty sure my parents only let me enter because they thought I wouldn’t win).

I also had birds. I had one that Watson bit a little too hard. I wasn’t home when it happened, but the bird (Sora) got out and Watson got into my room. Watson wanted to play… Sora had her wings clipped so she couldn’t fly. Afterwards, I got Aki and a few months later Hiro, because I thought Aki would get lonely. Aki pecked at Watson’s nose one time (he had his nose pressed up against the cage) and he never went near them again.

When I went on exchange to Japan, I got a betta. Now that I live in Japan, I’ve had hamsters (my parents never would let me have them as a kid). I had two that passed, and now of course I have Jackson (the most awesome hamster ever).

      31. When I was younger, my family convinced me the fish we were eating was ‘sea chicken’.

My family (minus my cousin Ryan who was in summer school) went to Prince Edward Island for vacation. One night they decided to cook up fish.

At that time I was already against fish, so my Uncle convinced me that it wasn’t fish, it was sea chicken. Being an innocent child, I had images of an actual chicken that lived in the sea. It was truly a majestic creature.

Apparently, someone in my family also changed the original recipe. Haha.

      30. I love soup.

Not only is it easy on my digestive system, but soup is easy to make, warms you up on a cold day, and is just so yummy. Of course there’s always the good old chicken noodle soup, and I’ve always loved cream of mushroom, cream of tomato and cream of broccoli. Lately, I’ve been having the vegetarian soup from Campbell’s, and it’s very delicious.

      29. When I was a kid, I was terrified of the Queen in Sleeping Beauty (the Disney version).

— She freaked me out so bad, that I used to hide behind the TV whenever I watched it. I figured that she couldn’t get me if I was there.

      28. My favourite fruits are raspberries and mangoes.

Unfortunately, it’s really hard to find raspberries in Japan. The one place where you can get them, they’re ridiculously expensive. Since I was a kid, I’ve always had raspberries with sugar and cream. Mmm.
